About the Fellowship
This summer, Hope CommUniversity and Youth Action Fund invites 50 young changemakers to join our immersive Paid Summer Fellowship!
A 3-month journey of leadership, learning, and action.
If you’re between 16–25, living in Florida’s I-4 corridor, and ready to create real change in your community, this is for you.
Who should apply?
We’re looking for Florida youth leaders ages 16-25 who:
- Live along the I-4 corridor (Orlando, Tampa, etc.)
- Are passionate about justice, equity, and creating change
- Can commit to a 3-month summer program
- Are action-oriented, even without prior organizing experience
- Want to learn, grow, and work in teams
Team applications are encouraged! Apply as a group of 4–6 peers from your neighborhood, school, or organization. Change starts locally, and your team will design a campaign rooted in your community’s needs.
What Fellows Gain
This isn’t a typical summer camp. You’ll dive into:
- Movement Calling: Discover your “why” for social justice work.
- Organizing Foundations: Learn the building blocks of how movements win.
- Strategy + Campaign Design: Create a real campaign with people-powered tactics — and present it at the end of the fellowship!
You’ll also complete a weekly service learning placement with a community partner doing real-world organizing.
