What is Hope CommUniversity?

HCU is a grassroots initiative focused on training young leaders in community organizing and advocacy, housed within Hope CommUnity Center.

Who can join HCU programs?

Our programs are open to young leaders, activists, and community members eager to make a difference. Some programs have specific eligibility requirements, but we encourage everyone to explore ways to engage.

How do I apply for a fellowship or training program?

Visit our Get Involved page and select the program that best fits your goals. Applications for the Fellowships are open.

How can I support HCU’s work?

You can volunteer, donate, or spread the word about our mission. If you’re part of an organization that wants to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you!

What is the time commitment for the Fellowship?

The Summer Camp Fellowship is a 3-month paid program and the Fall Campaign School Fellowship is a 6-month paid program. with structured learning, mentorship, and fieldwork. Fellows must be prepared to commit significant time to training and hands-on organizing.
